During my internship at Speed of Light, I was tasked with developing a static landing page for mudir.app based on a provided design mockup. The project required building a clean, fully responsive user interface using HTML and Tailwind CSS. The Challenge: The design included complex curved sections in both the Hero and Footer areas, which presented interesting technical challenges. Initially, I attempted to achieve responsiveness using traditional CSS approaches, but these methods proved cumbersome and difficult to maintain across different screen sizes. The Solution & Learning Experience: With guidance from my supervisor, I explored and implemented advanced CSS and Tailwind CSS techniques that enabled me to create a fully responsive design without relying on complex media queries. This approach resulted in cleaner, more maintainable code while achieving pixel-perfect responsiveness across all devices. Key Takeaways: This project significantly strengthened my ability to transform design mockups into clean, organized code. It reinforced the importance of seeking efficient, professional solutions rather than settling for the first approach that works. The experience taught me valuable lessons about modern CSS architecture and the power of utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
